The Bible

We believe the Bible, which consists of the New and Old Testaments, to be God’s inspired and infallible word having supreme and final authority.

God

We believe in one God existing eternally (without beginning or end) in one essence as three co-equal persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

Jesus

We believe in Jesus Christ who was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He empowers believers giving them spiritual gifts to proclaim the Gospel and build up the church.

Mankind

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God but sinned incurring not only physical death but spiritual death, which is separation from God.

Atonement

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a substitutionary atonement for our sins. Those who trust in Him alone are restored to God freely on the basis of His shed blood.

His Resurrection

We believe in the physical resurrection of our crucified Lord. His resurrection proved defeat over sin, thus providing the future bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust.

His Ascension

We believe in Christ’s ascension into heaven, and His present life there as our Advocate and High Priest.

His Return

We believe in the visible and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Heaven and Hell

We believe in eternal life and the fellowship of the saved in heaven. We also believe in a literal hell that was created as an eternal punishment for Satan.

Satan

We believe Satan is still working in the world to destroy the souls of men. He and all his angels along with all who reject Christ alone as their personal Savior will eternally perish in the lake of fire.

Grace

We believe that we can provide absolutely nothing to earn God’s forgiveness, favor, or eternal life. It is by His grace alone that we live, receive forgiveness and inherit eternal life.

Our Adoption

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby adopted as children of God and heirs of eternal life.

Priesthood of Believers

We believe that when someone is born again he/she is added to the body of Christ and is thereby part of God’s holy priesthood.

Baptism

We believe when a person receives the Lord Jesus Christ by faith and repents they should respond in baptism by immersion. Thus declaring the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; proclaiming the forgiveness of sin, and allowing His lordship in their life.

Communion/Sacrament

We believe in remembering Christ; His life, crucifixion, and resurrection by breaking bread and drinking grape juice together each week.

The Mission

We believe the mission of the church is to make disciples of all peoples and teach them to do the same.
